Twelve Years, Twenty-Four Seasons is a series of ceramic bud vases shaped by the Japanese microseasonal calendar (24 sekki) and the artist’s twelve years of living in Japan. Each vessel reflects a specific moment in the seasonal cycle, pairing form with small representational details, such as frogs, koi-nobori, or wagashi, that mark personal memory and cultural rhythm. Together, the works trace time as something lived and noticed, where seasons are remembered through objects, repetition, and care.
